Jonell Nix

Mrs. Jonell Nix age 70 of Cleveland passed away Monday December 16, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Nix was born in Gainesville, GA the daughter of the late Hub and Bonnie Crane Garner. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amy Parris and her brothers, Charles Garner and James Gerrell. Mrs. Nix was a homemaker and member of Tesnatee Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Nix, Cleveland; daughter, Vickie Nix, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Kim Nix, Helen; grandchildren, Eric Parris, Paige Denney, and Christi Palmer; sisters and spouses, Barbara Adams, Cleveland, Hazel and J.L. Sutton, Cleveland, Ruth and Keith Chambers, Alto; Judy and Jerry Stalling, Clarkesville; brother and spouse, Roy and Willeen Garner, Cleveland; 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday December 20, 2013 at Tesnatee Baptist Church. The Rev. Phillip Robinson will officiate. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Mrs. Nix will lie in state for 30 minutes at the church prior to funeral services. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the funeral home.
