Joseph Serra

Joseph Serra, age 85 of Clarkesville passed away, Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Serra was born August 16, 1925 in Pennsylvania to the late Luigi and Carmela Serra. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was preceded in death by his wife, Constance Ott Serra. Survivors include his daughter, Mary Christi; grandchildren, Gina Mire Christi; Jacqueline Sara Christi; Joseph Anthony Christi; great-grandson, Drake Edward, all of Clarkesville; brother, Richard Serra, Levittown, PA; sister-in-law, Rosa Spiess, Germany; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services are scheduled for 6:00 PM Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.
