Ms. Joyce Diane Fendley Maples, age 55 of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at her residence following a sudden illness.
Born in Wilkes County, Georgia on September 16, 1951, she was the daughter of Robert and Mary Dunson Fendley of Cleveland. Mrs. was a retired receptionist and preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Cook Barnette.
Survivors other than her parents include her daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Scoty Stokes, Gainesville; grandchildren, Kaci Stokes, Tristan Stokes, Kainan Stokes, all of Gainesville; Kayla Lane, Tyler Lane, both of Jackson, GA; brothers and sister-in-laws, Robert and Geraldine Fendley, Cleveland; Danny and Sabrina Fendley, Alpharetta; grandmother, Nettie Hunt, Milledgeville; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2007 from the Chapel of Sherrell Wilson Mangham Funeral Home in Jackson, Georgia. The Rev. Scott McQueen and the Rev. Dawn McQueen will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Jackson, Georgia.
The family will receive friends at the Barrett Funeral Home in Cleveland from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday and at the Sherrell Wilson Mangham Funeral Home from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday.
