Joyce Dillard Deaton

Joyce Dillard Deaton, age 81 of Clermont, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024. Mrs. Deaton was born in White County to the late Willie and Blanche Waldrip Dillard. Joyce was a former preschool teacher and a member of Chattahoochee Baptist Church where she was baptized. In addition to her parents Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Joel Deaton. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Edwin Avila, Clermont; 3 step grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow at Chattahoochee Baptist Church Cemetery.
