Joyce Pilgrim

Joyce Ann Martin Pilgrim, age 79 of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024. Mrs. Pilgrim was born September 24,1944 in Hall County to the late Sidney Gordon Martin and Ellen Omelia Martin. Joyce worked as the secretary for Pilgrim’s Insurance Company/Cotton States which was owned and operated by her husband Lowell Pilgrim. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Dean Pilgrim, brothers, Hugh Martin, Ray Martin, Rev. Lloyd Martin, sisters, Evelyn Pardue, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Larry and Lucille Pilgrim and brother-in-law, Lawrence Pilgrim. Survivors include her children, Ingrid Jones; Irma and Darren Jones; grandchildren, Bridget and Jeff Moore, Shane and Britany McCarty, Kierstin and Blake Kinney, Katie Jones, Dustin Jones, great grandchildren Molly, August, Lance, Elliana, James McCarty and Byron, Aislyn Kinney; siblings, Royce Martin, Harlen and Regina Martin; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lambert and Brenda Pilgrim, Geneva Pilgrim. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, March 18, 2024, at Gateway Memory Park. The Rev. Paul Flynn will officiate.
