Juanita Helton

Mrs. Juanita Estelle Legg Helton went to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 24, 2013. She was born to Joseph Bascomb and Candace Totherow Legg of Union County on February 3, 1917, being the seventh child of eight children. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her husband of 49 years, Grady F. Helton, and a son-in-law Vernon Jones of Lumpkin County. She is survived by three sons and daughter-in-laws, Billy E. Helton (Betty), Bobby Keith Helton (Nell), and Stanley Helton (Janell); two daughters, Shirley H. Jones, Deborah H. Bond, and a special son-in-law, Tommy Bond; granddaughters, Beth Jones Sanford, Sherry Helton, and Robin M. Bell; grandsons, Timothy M. Jones, Joseph K. Bell, Gavin L. Jones, and Christopher G. Helton; great granddaughters, Brieanna Jones Simonds, Amelia Bell, Nora Grace Bell; great grandsons, Brandon Jones, and Keith. A host of other nieces and nephews and a very special care giver who has been with us for seven years, Darlene Davis and a special little girl who loved mom very much, Kiara Rose (Kiwi) Davis. The family will received friends, neighbors and family at Barrett Funeral Home from 6-8pm Tuesday. The funeral will be Wednesday, November 27th at 1:00PM at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Anderson and the Rev. Hubert Legg will officiate. Interment will follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Barrett Funeral Home, Cleveland
