Judy Denise Freeman

Judy Denise Freeman, age 63, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023. Mrs. Freeman was born on July 9, 1959, in Gainesville, Georgia, to Ernest and Mandy Watkins Franklin. She was a homemaker and a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Donnie” Freeman; father, Ernest C. Franklin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rev. Robert and Betty Freeman. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Chris Burnett, Cleveland; grandchildren, Isaac Michael Burnett and Hannah Denise Burnett, both of Cleveland; mother, Mandy Lou Franklin, Cleveland; sister, Jeanie Freeman, Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Loy Gooch, Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Sheila Franklin, Cleveland; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bobby and Christie Freeman; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ann and Lynn Whitener, Penny and Glenn Sims, and Glenda and John Essigman; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Blue Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Darren Palmer, the Rev. Matt Pruitt and the Rev. Phillip Robinson will officiate. Interment will follow in Blue Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
