Judy Elaine Oliver

Judy Elaine Oliver, age 78 of Clermont, passed away Sunday, December 28,2025.

Ms. Oliver was born on August 18, 1947, in White County, Georgia. She worked as a caretaker, and she carried the values of kindness, hard work, and community with her throughout her life. She was also a member of Skitts Mountain Baptist church. Judy was a devoted caretaker who always put the needs of others before her own. She became lovingly known as “Nana,” a name first given to her by her granddaughter, Jayla Morris, and one she proudly shared with many who came to know her warmth and care.

She loved animals and never met a stranger, quickly making everyone she encountered feel like family. It was often said she was kin to almost everyone she saw, a reflection of her open heart and welcoming spirit.

Judy will be remembered for her compassion, gentle strength, and the way she made others feel loved. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished, there will never be another like her.

Ms. Oliver was preceded in death by her parents, James and Loutine Clark Oliver, brother and sister-in-law, Delbert and Ruth Oliver, nephew, Shane Patterson.

Survivors include her sister, Doris Oliver; granddaughter, Jayla Morris; niece, Nancy Oliver Bates (Bradley); great nieces, Ashley Bates, Stacey Bates.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 31 at 3:30 P.M. from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Kyle Savage and Rev. Mike Irvin will officiate.
