Julian Esco Cantrell

Mr. Julian E. Cantrell, age 75, of Sautee-Nacoochee, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019.   Mr. Cantrell was born in Helen to the late Esco Gordon and Virginia Caudell Cantrell.  He was preceded in death by wife, Joyce Ann Cantrell; son, Steven Cantrell; brothers, Roger Cantrell and Richard Cantrell; and sister, Janice Cantrell Nelms.  Mr. Cantrell was a carpenter and a member of Union Baptist Church.   Survivors include wife, Marraine Cantrell; daughter and son-in-law, Marty and Pete Stonecypher; son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Holley Cantrell; sons, Jeff Cantrell, Randy Cantrell, and Joey Chastain; grandchildren, Wil Stonecypher, Seth Stonecypher, Blake Cantrell, Evan Cantrell, and Cree Cantrell; brother, Bobby Cantrell; brother and sister-in-law, Benjamin and Beth Cantrell and Mitchell and Rita Cantrell; sister and brother-in-law, Edna and Tim Fortner, Judy and George Fortner, and Teleta and Danny Pritchett; and sister, Rosella Watson.   Funeral services are scheduled for 1 P.M. Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Danny O’Kelley will officiate.  Interment will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M.
