Julian Hoelscher

Mr. Julian R. Hoelscher, age 85, of Helen, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021. Mr. Hoelscher was born on March 8, 1935, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Henry and Victoria Hoelscher. He graduated from Brown High School in Atlanta, Georgia and from Georgia State University. Julian served in the United States Army. He later worked at Chestatee Library and at Unicoi State Park for many years. After retiring, he continued doing volunteer work at the park. In addition to his parents, Julian was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Hoelscher; sisters, Clara Norton, Victoria Karp,; nieces, Christy, and Jeanne. Survivors include his sister, Hazel Anderson, nieces, Cathy, Victoria, Judee, Maureen, Susan, and Sharon; nephews, Jim, Peter, Harry, Henry, Tommy, Stephen, Mark, David, Michael, Keith, and Daniel; numerous great nephews, great nieces, great-great nephews, and great-great nieces also survive.
