June Skelton

June Skelton, age 87, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023. Mrs. Skelton was born on June 27, 1936, in White County, to the late John Tolbert Gresham and Ruby Murphy Gresham. She was a seamstress and a member of White Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, June is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Skelton; son, Michael Skelton; grandson, Justin Skelton; brothers, Roy Gresham and J.T. Gresham; sisters, Betty Smith and Peggy Lawson. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Rita Skelton, and Tony and Tammy Skelton; grandchildren, David Skelton, Vandiver and Stephanie Skelton, Hannah Skelton, and Joshua Skelton; great-grandchildren, Rider Ray Skelton and Priscilla Mae Skelton; sisters, Judy Bennett and Beverly Lawson; brother, Joe Gresham. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 11, 2023, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dave Fortner will officiate. Interment will follow in White Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 5:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
