Karen Cooper Strine

Karen Del Cooper Strine age 67 of Dahlonega passed away Saturday July 25, 2009 at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN following a short illness. Mrs. Strine was born in Algona, Iowa the daughter of the late Delmar Cooper and Marian Waterman Cooper. Mrs. Strine was a secretary in the education field. Survivors include her husband, Phillip Strine, Dahlonega; daughter: Tara Strine, Atlanta; son and daughter in law, Trent and Vicki Strine, Grayson; sister: Coleen Kinsella, Bloomington, MN; grandchildren: Alex, Jacob, Olivia and Ian Strine all of Grayson and granddogs: Sydnie and Abbie Strine, Atlanta. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday August 1, 2009 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Keith Nichols will officiate. Burial will follow in Yonah View Memorial Garden.
