Katherine Louise Ray

Katherine Louise Ray, age 67, of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023. Ms. Ray was born on October 9, 1956, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Louise Scott Walker and the late Lester Walker. Katherine was a certified nurse assistant at Friendship Health and Rehab. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step-father, John Woods; brother, Buddy Walker; and sister, Dorothy Maring. Survivors include her sons, Allen Walker, James Walker, and Joseph Walker; daughter, Sandra Gerrin; mother, Louise Wood; sisters, Betty Strickland, Shirley Highsmith, Karlene Murphy; grandchildren, Dylon Walker, Skyla Miller, Brooker Shearer, Mindy Shearer, Brandon Collins, and Connor Stancil; great-grandchildren, Olivia Miller. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 24, 2023, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Sammy Reed and the Rev. Timothy Gerrin will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
