Katherine Elizabeth Sosebee

Katherine Elizabeth Sosebee age 91, of Sautee Nacoochee passed away Saturday February 6, 2021. Ms. Sosebee was born in Sautee Nacoochee the daughter of the late Oscar Lee Sosebee and Minnie M. Goss Sosebee. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Hoyt B. Sosebee, Hugh P. Sosebee, J.R. Sosebee, Minnie Lee Sosebee, Annie Rose Sosebee and nieces and nephews, Joseph R. “Jackie” Sosebee Jr., Naomi Williams, and Patsy Griffin. Ms. Sosebee was a caregiver and loved all her family. She was a member of Old Nacoochee Baptist Church. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Doris Sosebee, Cornelia; Doug and Julie Sosebee, Conyers; Joy Autry, Gainesville; Judy Prince, Grier SC; Linda and Jerry Adams, Demorest; Delores Ansley, Fairburn; Jeanette Newton, Sautee Nacoochee; Mary Ann and Earl Dean Anderson, Cleveland; James and Carolyn Sosebee, Sautee Nacoochee; Hugh and Lavonne Cantrell, Douglasville; Susan Gay Harris, Demorest; several great nieces and nephews, Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday February 9, 2021 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Milton Harris and the Rev. Brandon Hester will officiate. Interment will be at Nacoochee United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10-11 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Those in attendance are asked to adhere to social distancing guidelines and to please wear a mask.
