Kay Elizabeth Owenby, age 62 of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, June 06, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Owenby was born August 29, 1952 in Gainesville to Betty Marie Dooley Harkins and the late Joseph Harkins. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her step-son Mitchell Owenby. Survivors include her husband Arvil Owenby, Cleveland; daughter, Tammy Shedd, Alto; son, Stacy Boling, Cleveland; mother, Betty Harkins, Cleveland; brothers, Clay Harkins, Bo Harkins, Tim Harkins, all of Cleveland; Michael Harkins, Hiawassee; Danny Harkins, Dawsonville; sister, Diane Parsons, Homer; step-daughter, Michaelle Humphries, Macon; grandchildren, Kevin Michael Shedd, Brooke Shedd, Mark Ayers; great grandson, Peyton Shedd. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
