Laquita Ruth Holland

Mrs. Laquita Ruth Holland, age 83, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018.   Mrs. Holland was born on March 31, 1935 in Cleveland to the late Floyd and Ruth Rogers.  She was a seamstress at Belk and a member of Dewberry Baptist Church #1. Mrs. Holland was preceded in death by parents, brother, James Rogers, sister, Floy Lee Crowe, and grandson, Jacky Ray Holland. Survivors include son and daughter in law, Anthony and Anita Holland; daughter and son in law, Sabrina and Donald House; father of her children, Ray Holland; grandchildren, Jeana and Clint Pottinger, Kelly and Eric Johnson, Andy and Casey House; great grandchildren, Sarah Holland,Samantha Pottinger, Micah Johnson, Brie Johnson, Luke Johnson; great-great grandson, Bryson Pitts; sisters, Margarette Wiley, Angela Nix; and sister and brother in law, Becky and Steve Davis. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM Friday, June 29, 2018 at Dewberry Baptist Church #1.  The Rev. Brad Reynolds will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
