Larene Pitchford Anderson

Mrs. Larene Pitchford Anderson, age 88, of Cleveland passed away Monday December 5, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Anderson was born June 8, 1923 in Dahlonega to the late Robert and Ethel Lee Lomax Pitchford. She was also preceded in death by her husband Clarence Raymond Anderson; grandson Adam Blake Anderson; sisters Flo May Christy and Mary Lou Anderson; brother Clarence Pitchford; and a baby son. Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church #2. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Louise & Wayne Hatfield, Dahlonega; daughters Eloise Sutton, Annette Kirk and Lois Jackson, all of Cleveland; sons & daughters-in-law Eldon & Dorothy Anderson, Summertown, TN, Gerald & Jackie Anderson and Earl Dean & Mary Ann Anderson, both of Cleveland; son Virgil Anderson, Cleveland; sister Sylvia Jean Candler, Auburn; sister-in-law Myrttle West, Cleveland; 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday December 8, 2011 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church #2. The Rev. Les Fuller, the Rev. Corey Anderson and the Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate.
