Larry Kennedy

Mr. Larry Kennedy, age 64 of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 following an extended illness. Mr. Kennedy was born in Gwinnett County on June 21, 1947 to the late Verdis and Montene Mauldin Kennedy. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. Mr. Kennedy was a truck driver and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: Wife: Patricia Bradford Kennedy, Cleveland; sons and daughters-in-law: Larry John and Heidi Kenney, Dahlonega; Weyman Joe and Kelley Kennedy, Dacula, and Samuel Euell and Mathera Kennedy, Thomaston; brother: Donald Kennedy, Clermont; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 31, 2011 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home with the Rev. Roland Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Yonah View Memorial Gardens with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Thursday and all day Friday at the funeral home.
