Laverne Nix Davis

Laverne Nix Davis, age 80, of Cleveland passed away Saturday March 26, 2016. Mrs. Davis was born in White County the daughter of the late Robert L. and Ruth Pilgrim Dalton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Melvin Nix. Mrs. Davis was retired from United Community Bank as a Switch Board Operator and was a member of Chattahoochee Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Hubert Davis, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Shann and Mike Cash; grandchildren, Joe and Brandi Cash; Samantha and Brandon Williams; Anna Cash; great grandchildren, Raegan Cash, Tanner Cash, Emery Cash; step son and step daughter-in-law, Reggie and Debbie Davis; step son, Ronnie Davis; step grandchildren, Chad Davis, Luke Davis, Amanda Davis; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Roger Stiles; Gail and Lewis Bailey; brother and special friend, Bobby Dalton and Lynn Stovall. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Chattahoochee Baptist Church. The Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow at the VFW Cemetery.
