L.C. Tomlin

L.C. Tomlin, age 70, of Cleveland, died Friday June 1st 2007, following a brief illness. Mr. Tomlin was born in White County the son of the late Bunk C. and Lucille Freeman Tomlin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bunk and Lucille Tomlin, sons Stevie and Stacy Tomlin, and baby brother Cecil Tomlin. Mr. Tomlin was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Louise Smith Tomlin of Cleveland, Daughters and Son-in Laws Pam and Randy Irvin, Renee and Jeff Davis, and Teresa Herbert all of Cleveland. Grandchildren, Amanda and Mike Chappell, Dustin and C.J. Tomlin, Ranzie Irvin and Kent Davis, all of Cleveland. Brother and Sister-in-law Leon and Marilyn Tomlin, and Sister and brother-in-law Shirley and Charles Chaffin of Cleveland. Great-grandson Lukas Tomlin and Great-granddaughter Savannah Chappell of Cleveland. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday June 3, 2007 at New Bridge Baptist Church. The Rev. W.A. Jenkins, the Rev. Chris Alexander and the Rev. Mike Chappell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
