Lela Pearl Crane

Mrs. Lela Pearl Crane, age 87 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020. Mrs. Crane was born in Fannin County to the late German and Evelyn Leo Painter Pittman. In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Lloyd Crane; daughter, Janet Lynn Johnson; and son, Tommy Crane. Mrs. Crane was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion #2 in Murrayville. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Cotton Marcus, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Janice Crane, Murrayville; son-in-law, John Johnson, Murrayville; daughter-in-law, Ernestine Crane, Cleveland; sister, Marie Morris, Marietta; only living sister-in-law, Cennie Pittman, Morganton; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Monday, August 10, 2020 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. W.A. Jenkins and Rev. Lance Fuller will officiate. Interment will follow in Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Sunday, August 9, 2020 at the funeral home. The family requests that social distancing rules be observed, and physical contact be limited.
