Lenora Ruth Penner

Lenora Ruth Penner, age 89 of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Penner was born June 30, 1925 in Oriskany Falls, NY to the late Elmer and Cora Root Lemery. She was a nurse’s aide for Venice Hospital before moving to Cleveland, GA in 1993. Mrs. Penner was preceded in death by her husband Donald, son Douglas Penner, daughter Margaret Hancox and brother Carl Lemery. Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-laws, James and Sandra Penner, Cleveland; Sidney and Brenda Penner, Melbourne, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Robert Hamilton, Cleveland; sister, Shirley Hamm, Oriskany Falls, NY. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at Venice Memorial Gardens - 1950 Center Rd, Venice, FL 34293.
