Leonard Vince Wood

Mr. Leonard Vince Wood, age 60 of Dahlonega, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018.   Vince was born on August 10, 1957 to Allene Smith and the late Bill Wood. In addition to his father, Vince is preceded in death by his brother, Bryan “Chop” Wood. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Vince was a member of Cleveland Worship Center and attended Welcome Worship Center.   Survivors include his mother, Allene Smith Wood of Dahlonega, daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Danny Cullens of Cleveland, grandsons, Clayton Edward Carr, Jacob Michael Carr and Matthew Cullens as well as his sister, Regina Wood Freeman of Dahlonega; niece, Beth and nephews, John and Chris.   Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Welcome Worship Center. The Rev. Jimmy Peck and the Rev. Mark Akin will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with military honors provided by the White County Honor Guard.   The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon – 2:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.   In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Welcome Worship Center, 12293 US Hwy 19 N.
