Leslie Arthur Green

Barrett Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Leslie Arthur Green, age 76 of Sautee. Les passed away Friday, August 30, 2019. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, September 14, 2019 in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Les was born on May 17, 1943 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late Arthur Green and Ann Galanti Green. He served with honor in the United States Army and later retired as the Southeast Regional Sales Manager for the Zaytran Corporation. Les will be fondly remembered as a warm man who was straight forward but kind and always had a wealth of good jokes to tell, simply put ‘He loved life”, whether it was taking a long motorcycle trip or just simply being at home with his family. In addition to his parents, Les is preceded in death by his grandson, Brian Green and his brother Robert Green. Survivors include his wife, Ann Green of Sautee, daughter and son in law, Kathy and Matthew Stancil of Atlanta; son and daughter in law, Lee and Melendy Green of Norcross; brother and sister in law, Jonathan and Grace Green of Fort Lauderdale, FL; sister and brother in law, Jeanette and Jim Bryant of Sebastian, FL. Les is also survived by his grandchildren, Adrian Nicole Bollinger as well as Peter, John and Paul Stancil. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 13, 2019 between the hours of 4:00pm and 7:00pm.
