Linda Denise Shoemake

Linda Denise Shoemake, age 56 of Demorest, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Ms. Shoemake was born on December 29, 1962, in Gainesville, Georgia, to Ray Shoemake and the late Nora Dockery Ellis. She was a member of Damascus Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Shane Shoemake, Carrollton; father, Ray Shoemake, Cumming; sisters and their spouses, Renee and Larry Sutton, Dahlonega, Annette and Dean White, Dahlonega, Angela and Charles Sosebee, Sautee, Rhonda and Susanne Brady-Lusk, Houston, Texas; step sister, Pamela Wilson; best friend, Jack Goss, Demorest; 4 nieces; 4 nephews; several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 P.M. Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Ronnie Dockery will officiate. Interment will follow at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family will also receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the funeral service on Thursday.
