Linda Fay Taylor

Mrs. Linda Fay Taylor, age 79, went home to be with her Savior on October 31, 2025. She was born in Clarkesville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Joe & Cora Lee Franklin of Sautee, Georgia. Linda spent many years serving others as a waitress in Helen, Georgia. She also worked alongside her husband on the family farm, helped with the family business, Mac's Auto Parts, and was a dedicated homemaker. Linda poured her love into her home and family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family and loved many other kids that spent time in her home. She attended Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church in Cleveland, Ga.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Mack "Bo" Taylor, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mack and Margaret Naomi Taylor, brother-in-law, Jerry Nix and sister-in-law, Ellen Franklin.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Mark Taylor (Heather) of Sautee, Brent Taylor (Kristie) of Cleveland and Joseph Taylor (Ali) of Cleveland. Grandchildren: Max Taylor, Clay Taylor, Jay (Jade) Taylor, Jordan (Chris) Lee, Easton Taylor, Logan Taylor and Samuel Sosebee. Great grandson: Hudson Lee. Also surviving are her brother, LG (Martha) Franklin of Cleveland, sister-in-law Barbara Nix of Cleveland, and several beloved nieces and nephews including Jeffrey (Denise) Nix and Wanda (Eddie) Hood. She also had a special cousin and friend Margie Lewis.

Linda's gentle spirit, unconditional love, and unwavering faith will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 2 PM from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Paul Flynn officiating. Interment will be held at Gateway Memory Park.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
