Linda Kate Vining

Mrs. Linda Kate Vining age 67 of Demorest passed away Tuesday December 14, 2010 at Emory University Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Vining was born in Lagrange Georgia the daughter of the late William Frank and Irma Mae Perryman Cook. She was preceded in death by her step mother, Sarah Caldwell Cook and sister Gwennette McLoughlin. Mrs. Vining was a retired School Teacher teaching in Cobb County, Augusta and Virginia. Survivors include her husband, Don Vining, Demorest; sons, David Parker, Eric Parker, both of Augusta; grandchildren, Chloe Parker, William Parker, David Parker Jr., Chris Parker; sisters, Marie, Delene, Dot, Charlotte, Diane; brother Russell Cook. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday December 18, 2010 at the Nacoochee Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Bob Prim will officiate.
