Lloyd York

Lloyd Quintion York, age 68 of Cornelia, passed away Friday June 25, 2021. Lloyd was born on June 18, 1953 to the late Floyd York and Mozelle Brock York. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Wesley York, mother and father-in-law John and Loyce Heaton, brother, Troy York, as well as sisters, Donna York, Paulette York and Alice Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Glenda York, daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Greg Blackwell, son and girlfriend, Casey York and Darbie Massey, son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Alicia York, brother and sister-in-law, Hank and Melissa York, sister and brother-in-law, Floyiet and David Taylor, sisters, Connie and Nina York and grandchildren, Quinton, Austin, Alex, Keipher Blackwell, Kaylee, Ashlyn, Ely, Ezra, Bonnia, and Meredith York. Funeral services are scheduled for 2pm Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Kenneth Taylor, Rev. Bill Trotter, and Rev. Danny Kastner will officiate. Interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4pm – 8pm Monday, June 28, 2021 at Barrett Funeral Home.
