Lois Jean Wooten

Lois Jean Wooten, age 82, of Helen, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017.   Mrs. Wooten was born May 27, 1935 in Cleveland to the late Caffus and Bonnie Dean Abernathy. Lois was a homemaker and lifelong resident of White County. She was a member of Christian Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband George Wooten; son, David Reese; great grandson, Davey Reese and brother, Carlos Abernathy.   Survivors include her children, Mike Reese; Danny Reese; Kenny Reese; Steve and Debra Reese; Susie Reese, all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Billy Reese, Gina Wiley, Chuck Wehunt, Wanda Reese, Frankie Reese, Misty Roberts, Chanda Odom; sister, Katherine Hogan, Cleveland; brothers, Charles Abernathy, Roy Abernathy, both of Cleveland; 15 great grandchildren.   Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, October 13, 2017 at Trinity Full Gospel Church. The Rev. Dennis Taylor and the Rev. Kenneth Taylor will officiate.
