Lorene Adams Barnes

Mrs. Lorene Adams Barnes, age 68 of Cleveland, passed away Thursday December 18, 2008 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness. Mrs. Barnes was born to the late Luther and Amanda Adams. She was a member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include husband Roy Barnes Cleveland; sons and daughters–in–law Ricky and Norman Rider San Antonio, TX, Preston and Terry Rider Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-laws Carolyn and Morris Walker, Dawsonville, Linda and Jimmy Combs Woodstock, Teresa and Tommy Fouts, Dahlonega, Robin and Shawn Wells, Dahlonega; brother and sister-in-law Luther Adams Jr. and Norma, Dahlonega; sister Catherine Kerns, Dahlonega and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2008 from the Barrett Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Terry Whitmire will officiate. Burial will follow in the Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends all day Saturday at the funeral home.
