Loyce Shoffeitt

Loyce Dale Shoffeitt, age 67 of Dahlonega, went to her Heavenly home surrounded by her loving family and friends, on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.   Mrs. Shoffeitt was born on August 14, 1951, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late Rev. Howard and Lou Dell O’Kelley Wehunt. She worked as a customer service representative for United Community Bank for 18 years. Loyce was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Shoffeitt.   Survivors include her daughters, Sherry Buffington (Brent), Cleveland, and Shelly Seabolt (Felicia), Cornelia; step son, Joseph Shoffeit, Dahlonega; grandchildren, Bree Buffington, Brooke Buffington, Seth Smith, Conor Jordan, Thomas Jordan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Lamar Loggins, Gainesville, Oretta and Stan Trammell, Murrayville; dear friends, Melissa and Ronnie Pierce; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends also survive.   Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Phillip Wehunt and the Rev. Shane Wehunt will officiate.
