Lucille Stewart Gerrell

Mrs. Lucille Stewart Gerrell, age 83 of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Gerrell was born May 3, 1926 to the late William and Julia Thomas Stewart and was also preceded in death by her husband: Carl N. Gerrell, a sister: Margie Abstance and brother, Bill M. Stewart, Sr. Mrs. Gerrell was a retired teacher having taught in Hall, Lumpkin and White counties. She was a member of Chattahoochee United Methodist Church. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law: Janey & Gary Stamey, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law: Jeff and Sonya Luna, Cleveland; grandson: John Carl Luna; granddaughter: Mary Ann Luna; sister: Kathleen Church, Demorest; sister and brother-in-law: Verona & Dick Buchalter, Cleveland and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Chattahoochee United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Summers and Rev. Marc Turner officiating.
