Lucille Lunsford Hooper

Mrs. Lucille Lunsford, Hooper, age 87, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025. Mrs. Hooper was born on May 18, 1937, in Hiawassee to the late Boyce and Vernell Truelove Lunsford. She worked for Liberty Mutual and was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by husband, Harold Hooper; son-in-law, Larry Kelley; and sisters, Margie Powers and Blonde Lunsford. Survivors include daughter, Denise Kelley, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Billy Etris, Dahlonega; grandchildren, Tasha Etris, Nick (Leah) Kelley, April (Arvo) Bowen, Eugene (Kay) Etris; great-grandchildren, Blake Kelley, Bailey Kelley, Brody Kelley, Finn Kelley, Jack Barrett, Will Barrett, Bo Bowen, Andie Bowen, and Allie Bowen; sisters, Lillian Westmoreland and Linda London; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Rondal Garmon; many nieces and nephews; and special caregiver, Sandra Mulanero. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 P.M. Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Rev. Rondal Garmon, Rev. Darren Palmer, and Rev. Henry Loggins will officiate. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park. The family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the funeral home.
