Lynda Crane Hester

Lynda Crane Hester, age 66, of Cleveland passed away Wednesday February 11, 2015. Ms. Hester was born in White County to the late Barnett and Bertha Humphries Crane. She had over 40 years of service in nursing. Ms. Hester was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother Wayne Crane. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, LaKeta and Mike Cathey, Cleveland; daughter, Katrina Hester Swain, Cleveland; grandchildren, Erin Cathey, Alex Cathey, Riley Swain; brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Judy Crane, Sun Lakes, AZ.; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Peter Oehl, Greensboro, NC; sister, Peg Crane, Panama City Beach, FL.; special friend, Dennis Longwith, Cleveland. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Saturday February 14, 2015 at New Bridge Baptist Church. The Rev. Phillip Robinson and the Rev. Darin Cain will officiate. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or you may make contributions to your favorite charity.
