Mable Jean Wiley

Mable Jean Wiley, age 89, of Lula, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Mrs. Wiley was born on September 3, 1934, in Hall County, to the late Fred and Winnie Jackson Ward. She was a retired nursing assistant and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and siblings, Mrs. Wiley was preceded in death by her son, Tim Wiley. Survivors include her husband, Therman Wiley, Cleveland; son, Milton Wiley (Toni), Demorest; daughters, Dianne Ravan, Lula, and Betty Shubert, Cleveland; grandchildren, Andrea Gilbert (Shannon), Karla Nelson (Barry), Dale Wiley (Angel), and Michael Shubert; great-grandchildren, Dylan (Shelby) and Ryan Nelson, Jadon and Kensley Shubert, Harliegh, Eli, Maggie, and Tony Wiley; great-great granddaughter, Callie Nelson; sister, Julia Collett; special friend, Nell Oliver. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 P.M. Thursday, October 12, 2023, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Danny Oliver will officiate.
