Maggie Jeanette Allen

Maggie Jeanette Allen, age 71 of Alto, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at her residence. Ms. Allen was born November 26, 1941 in Hall County to Thelma Stevens Elliot and the late George William Loggins. She was a member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church in Winder, GA. Ms. Allen was preceded in death by her husband Teddy Max Allen, daughter Lydia Westmoreland, brother Ernest Loggins. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Durkas, Cleveland; mother, Thelma Elliot, Cleveland; grandson, Ethan Durkas, Cleveland; sisters Virginia Alexander, Thibodaux, LA; Doris Thompson, Cleveland; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Marie Loggins, Demorest; Chester and Judy Loggins, Alto; RoyLee and Bobby Sue Loggins, Gillsville; Wayne and Belvia Loggins, Cleveland. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, April 18, 2013 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Joey Pritchett will officiate. Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
