Margaret Clementine Leaman

Margaret Clementine Leaman, age 91 of Sautee passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness. Born in Indiana on March 03, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Thurman "Dick" Loy and Della Fannie Dice Loy. Mrs. Leaman attended Delphi High School, was a life-time member of the Frankfort, Indiana Chapter of Delta Sigma Kappa, and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Samuel Chester Shaff, second husband, William Pierce Leaman, sisters, Gwendolyn Loy Kleeman, Meridith Jean Loy Matthews, Geraldine Loy Fontinel, and was a member of the Delphi First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Mary Ann Seale, Sautee, Georgia; Dianna Wood, Clermont, Florida; grandchildren, Dennis Conner, Kennesaw, Georgia; Dawn Salmon, Marietta, Georgia; Melissa Craddock, Roswell, Georgia; Michael Henderson, Arch Cape, Oregon; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Salmon, Ryan Salmon, Ella Craddock, Clare Craddock; Sammy Henderson, and Max Henderson. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 05, 2007 from the Chapel of Abbott Funeral Home. The Reverend Todd Ladd will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort, Indiana. The family will receive friends at Abbott Funeral Home in Delphi, Indiana from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday.
