Margaret Harkins

Margaret Harkins, age 83 of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the Hospice of Blue Ash in Cincinnati, OH. Mrs. Harkins was born March 22, 1929 in Cleveland, GA to the late Loy D. and Carrie Lee Nix Autry. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, William Ernest Harkins, son, Ernest Harkins Jr., grandson, Paul David Harkins brothers, L.D. Autry, Ray Neal Autry, Raymond Autry, Virgil Autry and Benny Autry. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Ann Harkins and Jimmy Metcalf, West Harrison, IN; daughter, Brenda Sue Harkins Andrews, Cleveland; sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Wayne and Helen Harkins, Cleveland; Michael Everett and Dolores Harkins, Cincinnati, OH; Paul Dallas and Brenda Harkins, Cincinnati, OH; brothers and sisters in law, Farrell and Toni Autry, Sewickley, PA., Crandall and Dianne Autry, Gainesville; sister and brother in law, Betty and Weldon Colston, Cornelia; 13 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Jimmy Metcalf will officiate. Interment will follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
