Margaret Lois Wood

Mrs. Margaret Lois Wood, age 68, of Cleveland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Mrs. Wood was born in DeKalb County to the late Benjamin Randolph Dixon Sr. and Bertha Craig Dixon. In addition to parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Benjamin Randolph Dixon, Jr. Mrs. Wood was a retired nurse with a Master's Degree in Nursing, receiving her education from Emory University. Survivors include husband, Wayne Wood, Cleveland; sister, Phyllis Dixon Etheridge, Flowery Branch; niece and husband, Carrie M. and Kenneth R. Combs, Braselton; great nieces, Dr. Morgan L. Barron, Orlando, FL, Maitland Combs, Columbus, GA, and Melanie Combs, Cleveland; and great-nephew, Mack Combs, Alpharetta. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Monday, January 2, 2023, from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Rev. Lewis Fortner and Rev. Phillip Robinson will officiate. Interment will follow in White Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
