Margarett Turk

Margarett Turk, age 84 of Cleveland, passed away Monday, April 02, 2018.   Ms. Turk was born September 17, 1933 in Gainesville, GA to the late Daniel Leslie Martin and Myrtle Castleberry Martin. She was a former Teacher’s Aid and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Leon Martin and sister, Eloise Propes. Survivors include her daughters, Pam Garrett, Cleveland, Madge Skelton (Ronnie) Cleveland; son, Wayne Turk (Rhonda) also of Cleveland; grandchildren and their spouses, Marty and Amanda Garrett, Amanda and Jeremy Sapp, Subrena Turk, Levi Turk as well as her great grandchildren, Isaac Black, Anna Grace Garrett and Matthew Garrett. Ms. Turk is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and additional family members.   Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Robinson and Rev. Greg Poole officiating. Ms. Turk will lie in state at the church from 1:30 pm until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8pm.
