Marion William (Duck) Mcdougald

Mr. Marion William (Duck) McDougald age 84 of Cleveland passed away Saturday January 31, 2009 at Northeast Ga Medical Center Lanier Park Campus following an extended illness. Mr. McDougald was born in Jackson County the son of the late Floyd Jackson McDougald and Eddie Hogan McDougald. He was a farmer and textile worker. Mr. McDougald was preceded in death by sisters, Ruth Sosebee, Runell Anderson, brothers, Paul McDougald and Buddy McDougald. Survivors include sisters, Lounette Stover, Dora Mae Murphy, both of Gainesville, Shirley McKinney, John’s Creek; brothers, Curtis McDougald, Social Circle, F.J. McDougald Jr., Cleveland; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday February 3, 2009 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Verner London, the Rev. W.A. Jenkins and the Rev. Richard Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in White Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
