Mark Allen Fillingham

Mark Allen Fillingham, 56, of Cleveland GA passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Northeast GA Medical Center. He was a retired professional chef. Mark was born February 15, 1964 in Hardin, Montana and raised on a ranch. In his younger years Mark enjoyed bull dogging and traveling to rodeos and made the High School Rodeo National Finals. He later attended Cordon Bleu culinary school in Boston, MA obtaining his chef certification. He became 5 star designated while working at Primland Resort in VA. To supplement his income while in school, he restored the roof on “Old Iron Sides” in Boston. Mark is survived by his parents, Dorothy and Kent Fillingham of Billings. Montana, a sister, Judy (Jim) Parker, Billings, MT, brothers Will (Juniece) Fillingham, Christiansburg, VA, Jay (Lori) Fillingham, Ranchester, WY, Danny (Peggy) Fillingham, Billings, MT, close friends, Steve and Jane Nichols of Boston, MA, dear friend Rebecca Durham of Gainesville GA, and cousin Carol (Patrick) Powell of Cleveland GA. He had many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Mark was able to accomplish all his dreams here on earth in such a short time. He had a passion for pheasant, duck and goose hunting and was very proud of his champion hunting dogs. He was very talented and skilled in wood working and leather tooling. He accomplished his dream of owning his own top notch restaurant. He will always be remembered for his many talents. Mark was a kind soul and loved his Bridge church family and pastor Patrick Ballington. He was involved in the mens breakfast ministry. Mark had many dear friends and loved to prepare elaborate meals for them. He will be greatly missed by his family and those that loved him. Private services will be held.
