Marlene Anne Rector

Marlene Rector age 60 of Cleveland passed away Wednesday November 14, 2012 at Halcyon Hospice in Atlanta following a long battle with ALS. Mrs. Rector was born December 14, 1951 in Rochester, NY to the late Albert and Anne Lohfink Scranton. She was a member of the Quilt Guild and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Gary Rector, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Kevin Lauriault, Greer, SC; daughter, Laura Hanss, Fountain Inn, SC; son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Brooke Rector, Fort Wayne, IN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Beth and Tom Kurtenbach; Cheryl and Bill Barrett; brother, Roger Scranton, all of Rochester, NY; grandchildren, Matthew, Timothy, Arabella, Ella and Nessa. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from Friendship Baptist Church. The Rev. Joey Pritchett will officiate.
