Martha Jane Crane

Martha Jane Crane, age 74, of Clarkesville, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024. Mrs. Crane was born on February 28, 1950, in Clarkesville, Georgia, to the late Clyde P. Mote and Cleo Davis Mote. Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Dillard Crane; sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Missi Crane, and Keith and Katie Crane; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Daniel White; grandchildren and spouses, Matthew Crane, Daphne and Gene Harrison, Justin and Chelsea McIntosh, MaClay Hicks, Dale White and Mykayla Morgan, Jordan and Carrie White; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth White and Carly White; and sister, Phyllis Mote. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 15, 2024, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Chapell will officiate. Interment will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
