Marvin Grizzle

Mr. Marvin Grizzle age 58 of Cleveland, passed away Monday December 21, 2009 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness. Mr. Grizzle was born in Union County to the late Grady and Lizzie Garrettt Grizzle. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Angela Ellis Grizzle; brothers, Calvin Grizzle, John Robert Grizzle and sister, Sharron Grizzle. Mr. Grizzle was a farmer and a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Survivors include his sons, John Owen and Marty Grizzle, both of Cleveland; sisters Bertha Chambers, Murrayville; Betty Ruth Grizzle, Lois Grizzle and Janell Grizzle, all of Suches; Wanda Gilstrap, Cleveland; brothers, Joe Grizzle, Dahlonega; Charles Grizzle and Tony Grizzle, both of Suches; Ralph Grizzle, David Grizzle and Clyde Grizzle, all of Cleveland; Donald Grizzle, Hiawasse; father and mother-in-law, Russell and Bernice Ellis, Cleveland and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday December 23, 2009 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Waymon Lovell and Rev. Craig Summitt will officiate. Interment will follow in the Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
