Mary Alice Standridge

Mary Alice Standridge age 66 of Cleveland passed away Sunday March 11, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Standridge was born June 16, 1945 in White County to the late Spencer Walden Sr. and Mary Martin Walden. She was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Standridge, son, Steven Smith, daughter, Hattie Lynn Smith and sister, Martha Wilkes. Survivors include her granddaughter and husband, Jaclyn and Matt Tolar, Gainesville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ellen and Garland Stephens, Alto; Helen and Rickey Hicks, Cleveland; sister, Patricia Ellis, Clermont; brother and sister-in-law, Spencer Jr. and Janet Walden, Snellville; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from Center Grove Baptist Church. The Rev. Michael Wilkes, the Rev. Darren Palmer and the Rev. Gary Heffner will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Monday at the funeral home.
