Mary Jeanette Dixon

Mrs. Mary Jeanette Dixon age 62 of Cleveland passed away Sunday May 24, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Dixon was born in Habersham County. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Renee Dixon, father, Albert Morris and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Buren Stephens. Mrs. Dixon was a retired educator with the White County School System where she was the Director of Special Ed and then Principal of Jack P. Nix Primary School. She was a member of Chattahoochee Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Dixon, Cleveland; mother, Pearline Morris, Cornelia; Godchildren, Gracilyn Renee Hart, Arianna Capri Hart, both of Cleveland; mother in law, Lillian Dixon, Cleveland. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday May 26, 2009 at Chattahoochee Baptist Church. The Rev. Paul Flynn, Rev. J.R. Elrod and Rev. Matt Stephens will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
