Mary Jean Chastain

Mary Jean Chastain, age 89, of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Mrs. Chastain was born on July 1, 1934, in Helen, Georgia, to the late Grover and Ethel Dyer Cagle. She worked at Talon. In addition to her parents, Mary Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Eugene Chastain; Daughter, Marlene Yergin. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Darryl and Tommie Chastain; grandchildren, Heather Chastain, Dustin Chastain, Jason Yergin, Kevin Airington, great grandchildren Jada Airington, Austin Airington, and a host of additional family also survive. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 26, 2024, at Gateway Memory Park.
