Mary Malone

Mary Leatha Valk Malone, age 88, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Mrs. Malone was born on October 12, 1933, in Wapwallopen, Pennsylvania, to the late Stephen and Leatha Krajewski. She was a homemaker, an artist, and a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Valk. Survivors include her husband, Michael Malone, Cleveland; daughters, Susan Hage (Joseph), Cleveland, Jean Underwood (Bob), Columbia, South Carolina, Maureen McElhatten (Chip), Vienna, Virginia; and son, Stephen Valk (Sara), Atlanta, Georgia; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 26, 2022, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Father Thad Rudd will officiate. Interment will follow at Gateway Memory Park. There will be a visitation and rosary held from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
