Mary Catherine Montpas

Mrs. Mary “Cathy” Catherine Montpas, age 61, of Cleveland, GA, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2026.

Mrs. Montpas was born in Tampa, FL to the late Raymond Bullock and Sharon Woodhead Varnadoe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Randi Syson and brother, Wolfgang McLellan. She was a registered nurse with Northeast Georgia Health System. Mrs. Montpas was a loving mother and wife, with space in her heart for all of God’s creatures.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Montpas; sons, Quinn Borland (Lily Borland) and Colin Borland (Gillian O’Bryant); daughter, Natalie Montpas; sisters, Stephanie Botha, Lenora McLellan, and Kerri Crane (Chris).

A celebration of life will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Wednesday, November 11, 2026, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
